George Washington Garner, Jr.
January 28, 1951 - July 8, 1999

George Washington Garner, Jr., 48, of Bruceton, died Thursday, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 11, at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Loyce Fuller officiated. Burial followed in Old Hollow Rock Cemetery. Pallbearers who served were Wayne Pardue, Jimmy Pardue, Edde Foster; Jan Aylor, James Sloan and Johnny Pardue.

Mr. Garner was born January 28, 1951, in McCracklin County, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Garner, Sr. He was a retired shipping dock employee for H.I.S. Co., Inc. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Irene Jackson Goldsberry and Clyde Goldsberry of Bruceton. [Source: Carroll County NEWS-Leader]
