BRUCETON: Services for Mr. Kenneth Ray Garton, 49, were held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 10 at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Donna Jones officiating. Burial was in Martin Garton Cemetery near Burns. Mr. Garton, a retired cable splicer for AMRIETEC, died Saturday, December 8 at his residence. He was born November 29, 1952 in Bruceton to Edith Hooper Garton and the late Rye Garton. He was a Viet Nam veteran.
Besides his mother, he leaves his wife, Nancy Garton; a daughter, Megan Garton of Dayton, Ohio; three sons, Matthew Garton and Sean Garton, both of Dayton, Ohio and Shad Garton of Ocean View, Virginia; two sisters, Martha Sue Edwards of Centerville and Cheta Williams of Hollow Rock; three brothers, James Garton of Dickson, Julius Garton of Huntingdon and Leon Garton of Bruceton.
