Terry Lee Johnson, 50, of Sawyers Mill, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, in Nashville. Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 28, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home of Camden with Bill Douglas officiating. Burial followed at Sandy Point Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born Nov. 14, 1960 in Camden to Leta Hicks Johnson, of Sawyers Mill, and the late Billie Johnson. He was a riverboat captain for American. Commercial Lines for 25 years.
In addition to his mother he is survived by three sisters, Susann Johnson, of Nashville, Janice Taylor, of Eva, and Charlotte Johnson, of Sawyers Mill; a brother, Mark Johnson, of Sawyers Mill; two nephews, John David Taylor and Billy Taylor, both of Camden; a niece, Carlin Johnson, of Sawyers Mill; and two great-nephews, Xander and Orion Taylor, both of Camden.
