Mrs. Tracye Robin Jernigan Morgan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 60 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2025 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Palmer Shelter Cemetery in Huntingdon. Brother Hunter Jones and Brother Cliff Kelley officiating.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be Allen Espey, Kevin Hayes, Robbie Miller, Tommy Tippitt, Billy Davidson, Eric McMackin, and Chuck Brooks.
Honoring her as honorary pallbearers will be her nephews Adam Olds, Trevor Morgan, Randy Miller, Dayton Miller, Brock Miller, Rhett Miller, and Zac Barker, Brad Reagan, Eli Reagan, Colin Olds and Brady Morgan
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 and again on Thursday at 10:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM.
Mrs. Morgan was born November 23, 1964 to the late Carl Miller Jernigan. She is survived by her devoted mother, Lois Earp Jernigan of Hollow Rock, TN
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Steve Morgan. A proud and loving mother, Tracye, leaves behind her daughter, Cassidy Belew, and son-in-law, Cale, of Huntingdon, Tennessee; her son, Kyle Morgan, and daughter-in-law, Lindsey, of Murray, Kentucky. She cherished her two precious grandchildren, Avery Belew and Sawyer Belew, who were her pride and joy. Tracye is also survived by her brother, Carl Wayne Jernigan, and his wife, Tracy, of Hollow Rock, Tennessee; her sister, Debbie Jernigan Olds, of Bruceton, Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly.
Tracye’s life was a testament to love, kindness, and dedication to her family and friends. This is evident by her 38 years of dedicated service as a nurse. She started as an LPN in 1987 and graduated with an associate degree as a registered nurse in 1992. She loved her patients dearly and touched the lives of many over her career as a nurse. All who knew her will deeply miss her warmth, laughter, and unwavering support.
