Marion W. Page, 83, BRUCETON Services for Marion W. "Beans" Page, 83, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bruceton Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock. Mr. Page, a retired conductor for L and N Railroad, died Tuesday at his son's home in Huntingdon of heart disease. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lea Page. He is survived by a son, John W. Marion "Beans" Westbrook Page, 83, of Bruceton, died Tuesday, August 15, at his son's residence in Huntingdon. Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 17, at the Bruceton Church of Christ. Mike Hogan officiated. Burial followed in Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock. Bruceton Funeral Home was in charger of the arrangements. Pallbearers who served were Larry Page, Timothy Dillon, John Biggart, Shanon Sloan, Levi Towater, James Sloan, Charles Sisson, and Louis Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Sergio Salavar, H. G. Phillips, H. L. Cantrall, W. C. Faust, J. H. Maddox, W. C. Carroll, Clyde Bartlett, H. J. Coke, Red Rowland, members of BRT, members of Locomotive Engineers, Hanford Rook, Jerry Hastings, Charlie Bell, Joe Corlew, Bobby Jo Hilliard, Lloyd Larkins, Bill Eubanks, and W. J. Wolfe.
Mr. Page, the son of the late Marion Edgar Page and Stephie Dale Westbrook Page, was born November 13, 1916, in Mercer. He was a retired conductor for L&N Railroad, a member of Bruceton Chruch of Christ, and a member of Brotherhood of Railroad trainmen. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lea Page; a son, Marion Douglas Page; and a brother, Ralph Douglas Page. Mr. Page is survived by a son, John W. Page, Sr. (Joyce) of Huntingdon; three grandchildren, Sharon Leigh Page, John Page, Jr. and Katherine Dillon; and six great-grandchildren.
