Robert Hurt Webb, 82, passed away on Monday, July 15, at his home near Bruceton. Services were held at 11 a.m.Wednesday, July 17, at Bruceton Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Lafferty officiated. Burial was at Camden City Cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers who
served were Lynn Cole, Buddy Webb, Scottie Webb, Robert Keeton III, Dennis Farmer and Kenneth Davis, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Robert L. Williams and Mark Arnold.
Mr. Webb was born on October 9, 1930, in Bruceton, to the late Charlie B. Webb and Willie Hurt Webb. He worked in maintenance for Chem-Metals, was a member of Bruceton United Methodist Church, and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Webb; a sister, Charlene Saunders; and a brother, Billy T. Webb. He is survived by a daughter, Janie (Keith) Smothers of Bruceton; a son, Eddie Webb of Cumberland Furnace; a sister, Elizabeth Fabian of Frankston, Texas; two granddaughters, Jessica Smothers and Robin Hart, both of Bruceton; and three great-grandchildren, Haden, Abby and Sawyer.
