Mrs. Ina Belle Billingsley, age 91 Of: Waverly, TN passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, at Camden Healthcare & Rehab Center in Camden, TN. She was born February 26, 1932, in Hollow Rock, TN. Mrs. Billingsley was a 60-year member of the Waverly First Baptist Church. She worked for the Humphreys County School System as a teacher’s aid and later secretary for a total of 24 years. Mrs. Billingsley volunteered with several different community committees including the Humphreys County Humane Society, Humphreys County Museum and Crime Stoppers where she served as secretary. Mrs. Billingsley attended one of the first Citizen Police Academies that the City of Waverly conducted; and attended a small arms course through the police department where she scored expert on marksmanship.
After retirement, Mrs. Billingsley joined a Sewing Club. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and traveling with her husband, Hollis, to several states including Hawaii, Alaska, New Hampshire, and California. While visiting their daughter, Edna, in California they enjoyed panning for gold. No greater statement can be made than her life was one that was well lived.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am until service time Friday, October 27th at Humphreys County Funeral Home. Funeral Services: for Mrs. Billingsley will be conducted at 2:00pm Friday, October 27, 2023, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Adam Mullinax officiating. Interment will follow in Richlawn Cemetery.

Nephews: Gary Vaughn (Charlotte) of McEwen, TN, Steve Vaughn (Penny) of Waverly, TN
Niece-in-law: Mavis Vaughn of Waverly, TN
Great Nieces and Nephews: Heath Vaughn, Heather Vaughn-Little (Kevin), Chad Vaughn (Nicole), Crystal Morrow, Dr. Kyle Vaughn
