Minnie "Zolline" Ellis

BUENA VISTA: Services for Minnie "Zolline" Ellis, 70, were conducted on Saturday, February 5, at 1:00 p.m., in the Chase Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Johnny Boyd officiating. Interment followed in the McAuley Cemetery. Mrs. Ellis died on Wednesday, February 2, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
She was born February 21, 1934, in Carroll County, to the late Henry Zollie Massey and Verda Noles Massey. She was a retired seamstress for the Publix Shirt Corporation and a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Massey.
Survivors include her husband, L.D. Ellis; a daughter, Sherry Grose; two sons, Johnny Ellis and Danny Ellis, all of Buena Vista; two sisters, Shelby Crocker of Midway and Laura Hallowell of Kingston Springs; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
