 Billy Gene Young, 81, of Bruceton, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in
                Huntingdon.
 Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dan Young
                officiating. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock with military honors at the
                gravesite. Pallbearers who served were Jeff Young, Preston Young, Jerry Cole, Ernie Wyatt, Kordell
                Young, Keith Butler, and Dizzy Joyner.
 
 Mr. Young was born on Oct. 13, 1929, in Bruceton, to the late Lance Mark Young and Ann Bulah
                Ferguson Young. He was a member of Bruceton Church of Christ, Korean War Marine Veteran, Bruceton
                Masonic Lodge #731, and Memphis Scottish Rite. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years,
                Carolyn Cole Young; and a son, Mike Young.
 
 He is survived by two daughters, Dana Young (Dizzy) Joyner of Jackson and Leigh Young (Keith)
                Butler of Trenton; two sons, Mitchell (Billie) Young of Winchester, Va. and Dan (Jenna) Young of
                Bruceton; a brother, Jerry Young of Bruceton; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a
                very special friend, Pat Hopper of Bruceton
