Ms. Carolyn June Bryant, 72, of Milan, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021
at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to Milan Middle School, Rise Room, 4040
Middle Road, Milan, TN 38358 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00
PM until 8:00 PM.
Ms. Bryant was born March 16, 1949, in Hollow Rock, Tennessee, to the late William Tyler “Dub”
Ellis and Imogene (Eubanks) Ellis.
She was a member of Gibson Baptist Church and former president of Milan Quarterback Club.
She had a huge heart and loved children. She served her community in so many ways. She
owned a Wonderful World of Children and worked for Milan School District, where she impacted many
young lives. She loved football just as much and could be heard cheering for the Tennessee
Titans or Milan Bulldogs on game day. She had an infectious laugh and admirable sense of
humor. Her “tell it like it is” personality will be greatly missed by all who loved her
She was survived by her husband, Bobby C. Bryant, two daughters, Donna Bishop of Tyler, Texas,
Lee Ann Williford (Shane) of Wilkesboro, North Carolina, one son, Jonathon Bryant (Jenny) of Milan,
one sister, Loucretia Ann Ingram of Powder Springs, Georgia. She also leaves four
grandchildren, Kellye Keltner, Morgan Murray, Madison Bryant, Carson Bryant, four
great-grandchildren, Lilliana Keltner, Knox Murray, Kenzie Murray, and Kylee Murray, two
step-grandchildren, Heather Shannon (Jon), Jodi Lamb (Brian), and one nephew, Randall Ingram

Mrs. Janet "Penny" Carol Daily, 71, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away
Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of
Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Brett Mebane officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem
Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from
5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 11:00 AM until time of service.
Mrs. Daily was born July 27, 1949 in Hollow Rock, Tennessee, to the late Jack Neely and Nadine
(Fowler) Neely. She was an inspector at H. I. S. Company and a member of Faith Christian
Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Teresa Farrar of Bruceton, Angela Daily of Decatur, Alabama,
three sons, Ken Roberts (Crystal), Stacey Roberts (Adriana), both of Lexington, Jamie Craig of
Bruceton, a half-sister, LeeAnn Baker (Brad) and half-brother, John Mitchell, both of Huntingdon.
