Mr. Richard Allen Grooms, 46 of Camden, Tennessee passed away
Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 11, 2016 at
2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Bro
Sammy Douglas and Bro. Doug Tiff will officiate the service.
In Lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations be
made to Chase Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends in the Oak Wood Room of Chase
Funeral Home on Thursday after 4:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of
service.
Mr. Grooms was born March 13, 1970 in Camden, Tennessee to the
late Morris Grooms and Nancy (Hutchens) Grooms. He was a retired factory worker for the
H.I.S.Company and a member of the New Beginnings Church. He was also preceded in death by one
brother, Morris Grooms Jr., and one sister, Sherry Ann Tanaka.
He is survived by one sister, Mary Mitchell (husband Donald)
of Buena Vista, four brothers, James Hershel Riggs and Billy Joe Riggs both of Bruceton, Robert
Lee Riggs (wife Kim) of Delano, Tennessee and David Earl Riggs (wife Nancy) of Hollow
Rock.

Mr. Michael Edward Windom, 44 of Lavinia, Tennessee passed away
Monday, October 7, 2013 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 11, 2013 at
1:00PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in McLemoresville Cemetery. Bro.
Robert Barger will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase
Funeral Home on Thursday, from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and on Friday from 8:00AM until time of
service
Mr. Windom was born January 21, 1969 in Rockford, Illinois. He was
an engineer for the CSX Railroad Company, served on the Terry Volunteer Fire Department for 18
years and attended Cool Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Hollie (Taylor) Windom;
three sons, Dakota Windom (wife Lillian) of McLemoresville, Austin Windom and Coleman Windom both
of Lavinia; his parents Roy and Virginia Windom of Huntingdon; four sisters, Cindy Tate (husband
Jeff) of Hermosa, South Dakota, Peggy Parisot (husband Robert) of Belvidere, Illinois, Tammy Windom
of Clarksville and Penny Martin of Huntingdon and one brother, Brian Windom (wife Angela) of
Houghton Lake, Michigan. He also leaves one granddaughter, Heidi Windom and several nieces and
